At Geneva Watch Days 2026, independent watchmaker Beda’a returns to its Angles collection with two new limited editions that offer contrasting interpretations of the brand’s distinctive design language. The Angles 37 Boutique Edition and Angles Mecaline Boutique Edition share a new dial aesthetic, combining a vertically brushed silver surface with black Breguet-style numerals, gold-toned hands and deep blue straps.

While the two watches are united by their visual identity, they take different approaches to the mechanics of timekeeping. The Angles 37 focuses on simplicity and an ultra-slim profile, using a Swiss quartz movement, while the Angles Mecaline introduces a manually wound mechanical calibre and small seconds at 6 o’clock.

A New Expression of the Angles

The new editions bring a more classical character to the angular architecture that defines Beda’a’s Angles collection. The vertically brushed silver dial creates a restrained backdrop for the black Breguet-style numerals, while the gold-toned hands add a subtle warmth to the otherwise monochromatic design.

The contrast between the geometric case and traditional dial details is central to their appeal. The eight-faceted case construction gives both watches a distinctly contemporary presence, while the Breguet-style numerals introduce a more traditional watchmaking vocabulary. A deep blue strap completes the look, adding another layer of colour without disturbing the restrained character of the dials.

Despite sharing the same aesthetic direction, the two watches have noticeably different personalities. The Angles 37 is pared back to hours and minutes, while the Angles Mecaline introduces a small-seconds display and the tactile experience of manually winding a mechanical movement.

The Angles 37 Boutique Edition represents the more minimalist interpretation of the pair. Its two-hand display leaves the vertically brushed silver dial largely uninterrupted, allowing the black Breguet-style numerals and gold-toned hands to become the principal visual elements.

Its distinctive eight-faceted case measures 37mm in diameter and retains the stepped construction and integrated lugs characteristic of the Angles collection. At just 5.3mm thick, the watch maintains an exceptionally slender profile, reinforcing its understated and elegant character.

Powering the watch is the Swiss Ronda 1062.1 Slimtech quartz movement. The compact calibre allows Beda’a to preserve the watch’s slim proportions while offering the convenience and simplicity associated with quartz timekeeping.

Beda’a Angles Mecaline Boutique Edition

The Angles Mecaline Boutique Edition takes the same design language into mechanical territory. Its vertically brushed silver dial is framed by black Breguet-style numerals and gold-toned hands, while a small-seconds display at 6 o’clock adds visual movement to the otherwise clean composition.

Inside, the watch is powered by the hand-wound Peseux/ETA 7001 calibre, a movement known for its slim architecture. Its compact dimensions allow the Mecaline to retain the slender character of the Angles collection, with the watch measuring just 6mm in thickness.

The manually wound movement also changes the experience of wearing the watch. Rather than simply providing the practicality of quartz, the Mecaline introduces the daily ritual of winding, while the small seconds offers a subtle indication of the mechanical movement at work. The Angles Mecaline Boutique Edition offers a more traditionally mechanical interpretation of Beda’a’s contemporary geometric design.
