Honoring a Legacy: Raymond Weil Unveils the New Toccata Heritage Collection
Geneva-based Maison is turning its spotlight toward the women who have helped shape its journey from day one, accounting for nearly 40% of the brand’s total revenue. The centerpiece of this tribute is the newly expanded Toccata Heritage collection, a stunning reimagining of a celebrated 1977 archival timepiece that bridges vintage charm with modern femininity. A Dialogue Between Past and Present
The Toccata Heritage collection draws inspiration from the aesthetics of the 1950s through the 1970s, carrying forward the soft, graceful profile and delicately proportioned 28 mm round case of its historical muse. CEO Elie Bernheim notes that the collection is designed as a direct dialogue between the brand's roots and modern sensibilities, stating that the timepiece is much more than a simple reissue because it embodies a meaningful dialogue between heritage and modern femininity. While the original proportions have been carefully preserved, the execution benefits entirely from contemporary Swiss watchmaking engineering and elevated finishes. Encased in stainless steel, with options in polished steel, as well as warm rose gold or yellow gold PVD finishes, the watches achieve a balance of durability, comfort, and everyday elegance.

Thoughtful Details and Refined Craftsmanship
Delicate yet full of character, the new Toccata Heritage models across their nine references showcase a series of meticulously considered updates. One of the most striking visual features is the prominent glass-box sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, which delicately manipulates light to create a sense of depth and a softly domed dial appearance that accentuates its vintage appeal. Complementing this, the Roman numerals have undergone a complete redesign to give the dial a sharper, more confident graphic presence, while the minute track has been relocated to the outer edge of the dial to optimize legibility. Adding a touch of distinct color coordination, the crown on each model is set with a deep blue lacquer cabochon that subtly matches the tone of the hands. Furthermore, double gadroons frame the case to highlight its jewelry-inspired profile, and for those seeking an extra touch of glamour, select references feature diamond-set bezels that bring a sophisticated radiance to the wrist.
Versatile Elegance
Driven by a reliable Swiss Made quartz movement for seamless everyday wear, the collection adapts gracefully to personal style through its choice of finishing and straps. Wearers can choose between a refined lizard-effect calfskin leather strap or a fluid, integrated metal bracelet.
By reinterpreting its classic design codes for the modern woman, RAYMOND WEIL’s new Toccata Heritage collection proves that true elegance transcends time, serving as both a celebration of the Maison's rich history and a heartfelt homage to the women who continue to drive its legacy forward.
