Telemeter, pulsometer and tachymeter three of the chronograph’s most practical measurement scales come together in the new Instrument de Mesures from Angelus. Drawing on its rich heritage of producing functional timing instruments, the Swiss manufacture has created a watch that serves as a genuine measurement tool while embracing the aesthetics of vintage chronographs. Produced in two limited editions of just 25 pieces each, the Instrument de Mesures uses a single chronograph hand to perform multiple calculations, from measuring elapsed time and heart rate to determining distance and speed. Housed in a compact 39mm stainless steel case, the watch features a highly legible three-dimensional dial available in either ebony black or ivory white, with meticulously graduated scales that reinforce its instrument-like character. Combining practicality, mechanical sophistication and timeless design, the Instrument de Mesures captures the spirit of classic tool watches while showcasing Angelus’ contemporary watchmaking expertise.
