The timepiece brings together automotive heritage and advanced mechanical watchmaking through IWC’s newly engineered Perpetual Calendar ProSet, a gear-driven module protected by four patents. Its intuitive single-crown adjustment allows the perpetual calendar to be set forwards or backwards without additional pushers or changes in crown position. The black dial features golden appliqués and hands, with the date, month and day displayed across three sub-dials, while IWC’s signature Double Moon® display appears at 12 o’clock. A four-digit year indicator sits between 7 and 8 o’clock, while the sapphire crystal case back bears the historic 1926 Mercedes-Benz logo, created following the merger of Daimler Motoren-Gesellschaft and Benz & Cie. Powering the watch is the IWC-manufactured 82665 calibre, equipped with a nickel-phosphorus escapement, silicon hairspring and ceramic-reinforced bidirectional Pellaton winding system, delivering a 60-hour power reserve. The black rubber strap is fitted with IWC’s EasX-CHANGE® system for tool-free replacement.
