The design incorporates subtle cricket-inspired details, beginning with a blue gradient dial conceived as a bird’s-eye view of a cricket pitch. Three golden dots above the Rado logo represent the wicket’s three stumps, while the brand’s signature moving anchor logo takes on the appearance of a cricket ball, complete with a red hue inspired by cricket-ball leather. The tip of the seconds hand echoes the same shade. A polished blue high-tech ceramic bezel complements the dial, while yellow-gold-coloured accents on the crown, bezel, hands and indices lend the stainless steel case a refined edge. Super-LumiNova® on the hands and indices ensures legibility in low light, while the case back is laser-engraved with “OFFICIAL TIMING PARTNER | EUROPEAN CRICKET.” True to the Captain Cook’s adventurous character, the watch is water-resistant to 300 metres and powered by the automatic Rado calibre R763, equipped with a Nivachron™ hairspring and an impressive 80-hour power reserve.
