The Vision of India Watch Weekend

India Watch Weekend was born from a singular vision: to give India its own uncompromised place on the global horological calendar. Conceived not as a peripheral stop on a global tour, IWW was built by The Hour Markers to anchor a space where brands, elite collectors, retailers, and enthusiasts could meet on Indian terms and at an authentic Indian scale.

The ethos of IWW is rooted in cultivating deep, meaningful engagement with the art of watchmaking. From hosting country-wide milestones, such as pioneering immersive collector meets uniting hundreds of enthusiasts, bringing renowned platforms to dissect investment potential and rare complications, to hosting foundational training courses like the first FHH Watch Essentials certification in Mumbai, The Hour Markers has shaped an environment where Indian collectors showcase sophisticated knowledge. Today's participants analyze movement architecture, independent watchmaking, and historical provenance with a discerning eye, proving that the nation's watch culture possesses immense depth.

Building on this rapid maturity, the global stage is officially turning its gaze toward Mumbai. Dubai Watch Week, the preeminent non-commercial watch event and global platform founded in 2015, has announced a strategic roadmap leading to its eighth edition in November 2027. As part of this global initiative to drive community engagement and education, Dubai Watch Week is bringing its celebrated traveling Horology Forum (HF) directly to India Watch Weekend in Mumbai from February 6th to 7th, 2027.
