Celebrating 45 years of independent watchmaking, ANDERSEN Genève revives one of its most significant creations with the new Communication 45 in Platinum. Inspired by the original Communication of 1990 the brand's first serially produced wristwatch the anniversary edition blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary refinement. Housed in a hand-finished 38mm case available in either platinum or yellow gold, the watch features elegantly sculpted 'cornes-de-vache' lugs and a striking BlueGold dial engraved with a signature wave-pattern tapisserie. At its centre sits a meticulously crafted world map, created using a newly developed technique that etches the continents into the BlueGold surface before filling them with liquid gold lacquer. Offered in three limited editions of just 15 pieces each, with maps of Europe, Asia or the Americas, the Communication 45 is powered by Svend Andersen's ultra-thin 0.9mm in-house worldtime module first introduced in the original 1990 model paired with a beautifully restored vintage movement finished entirely by hand in the Geneva atelier.
