Instead of forcing you to recalculate offsets in your head, MING split the world’s cities into two distinct camps. Cities that do not observe DST remain fixed in place on the inner bezel, while cities that change with the seasons sit on an independently rotating outer bezel. A single, satisfying 15-degree click of the machined outer bezel shifts only the DST-observing cities by one hour against the 24-hour scale. A tiny aperture positioned between eight and nine o'clock flips from silver to red to provide immediate visual confirmation that DST is engaged.
